Our Preschool is growing! We have added an infant and young toddler room, and an additional two-year-old room. With growth, comes wonderful change and opportunity. We are excited for what lies ahead. New Two-year-old Class “The Pelicans”: The addition of the infant and young toddler rooms made way for a new two-year-old room to be opened. Our very own Ms. Sandra will be the lead teacher in this new classroom. Students in Ms. Sandra’s class are current MSPCS students who were originally in an 18 month/two-year-old split. Even with the addition of this new classroom, the 18-month class is nearly at capacity. For this blessing, we say thank you! Ms. Sandra has previously worked with the two-year-olds and is excited about her new position. Please join me in congratulating Ms. Sandra on this step up in her career as a Lead Teacher and wish her well with the toddlers.
New Teacher Assistant in “The Herons”: MSPCS is very fortunate to have been able to capture the heart of Ms. Kristin. Ms. Kristin comes to us from the Miami Shores Recreation Center where she has worked as a Camp Counselor and Assistant Art Teacher for nearly seven years. Although she enjoys working at the Rec. Center, her ultimate goal is to become a Lead Preschool Teacher. We are thankful that she is looking forward to achieving that dream here with us. Her enthusiasm and warm smile will surely fit in nicely amongst our caring staff. Ms. Kristin joins our MSPCS family as Ms. Isabel’s teacher assistant. Please join me in welcoming her into our school family.
New Infant Room Teacher “The Storks”: MSPCS is pleased to announce that Ms. Anita will be joining us in late January. Ms. Anita has worked with a wide range of children, from infants through elementary age, in both her homeland India and in the United States. Ms. Anita comes to us with high recommendations from one of our current student’s families with whom she worked for a number of years. Ms. Anita is like family to them and we are thrilled to have her become a part of our family. Welcome Ms. Anita!
Many prospective parents who toured our school in recent weeks commented that it was word of mouth that brought them in. Thank you to the parents and staff who share their love of MSPCS and their child’s wonderful experiences here. The remarkable growth that MSPCS is experiencing is highly attributed to the wonderful families in the community that choose to call MSPCS home for their children.
