As part of Hispanic Heritage month, our students are learning about different Spanish speaking countries, learning about different cultures, and reading books in spanish. One first grader wrote a book review on “The Tooth Fairy Meets El Ratón Perez”, a book with an underlying friendship theme.
In “The Tooth Fairy Meets El Ratón Perez” they were quarreling because they both wanted Miguelito’s tooth or diente. After, they became friends because they shared the tooth and they built a rocket ship together out of the teeth so the rat could eat the cheese moon and then they made a tooth castle together.”
