MSPCS Alumni are accomplished, well-rounded individuals. Beyond MSPCS, they go on to local middle and high schools, colleges, grad schools, internships, and more.
Hi! My name is Jenna Lilly, and I am an MSPC School alumna and former MSPC youth member. I work for Sea Education Association (SEA) based out of Woods Hole, MA as an assistant scientist. SEA has high school, gap year, and college study abroad programs, known as SEA Semester, on their two tall sailing ships. As an assistant scientist, I am partnered with one of the mates to lead a group of students called a watch. We conduct original oceanographic research for student projects, learn to navigate and sail the ship, and live with 30+ other people in an intentional learning community. It’s an incredible experience getting to see the students grow so much in 6 weeks and to sail in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean where few people get to go!
